Spring is here! When getting my spring wardrobe in order I like to make sure I have a benchmark of staple pieces handy. For me it is important that these pieces are versatile and wearable, keeping your staples neutral will help in this regard. I have pulled together my spring wardrobe must haves for you below, showcasing a few of my recently ordered Jane items! Jane is a boutique market place where you will find the greatest trends for all things fashion and home, they have so many great Spring fashion staples.
Tops
Layering tank. Perfect on its own seen here, under off-the-shoulder sweaters, or as a base layer under a cozy cardigan/denim jack. I recommend to have a few in neutral colors!
Perfect tee. Goes with everything, perfect for casual daily wear.
Long sleeve. Same as the tee, but for when its a little colder. I like having both lose/comfortable ones as well as some that are more fitting to pair with high rise bottoms helping you achieve a bodysuit look.
Button-up. You should always have some classic button-ups in your closet. Mix with some cute denim and strappy heels for a night out on the town!
Light knit sweater. Sweaters and jean shorts might be my most favorite spring combination ever, its a cozy casual style that always looks effortless!
This one is from Jane and incredibly soft. Looks perfect with a good pair of cut offs!
Bottoms
High rise straight denim. These are my favorite style of denim, they are classic and will not go out of style.
Paper-bag pant/shorts. For when you want to dress up a little but still stay comfortable.
These paper bag waist shorts are from Jane. They are V comfortable and could not be more adorable. You can wear them with chucks/slides or dress them up with an espadrille platform/wedge as I did above!
Jean shorts. Invest in a good pair that make you feel comfortable (not too short/tight, provides good coverage, and quality denim). They don’t have to be expensive to be good quality there are so many great options out there!
Dress/Romper
I love dressing down a cute dress or romper with sneaks/slides for an everyday casual look. You can always add a wedge or heel for a easy transition to date night or going out!
Jackets
Living in upstate NY, temperatures drop a lot at night. I always have a lightweight coat on hand when I leave the house!
Classic jean jacket. It will never go out of style. Whether you like a boxy/structured fit, or more of a giving/flexible one I have you covered!
A cute blazer. The blazer I am wearing above from Jane I get so many questions and compliments on it every time I wear it! I love that the material is soft and does not wrinkle (making this piece is perfect for travel). Just search blazer on their site! These leopard loafers are from Jane as well, they have a great affordable shoe selection be sure to check it out!
