Located on the north end of Skaneateles lake, Mirbeau Inn & Spa is the perfect retreat. Whether it be for a "Mom's night out" or romantic getaway you wont be disappointed by the attentive staff, award winning treatments and gorgeous facility.
The second you pull on to the grounds you are surrounded by the lush majestic gardens. The resort truly has captured the ability to transport you away. We were greeted upon entrance of the spa by their wonderful staff. It is apparent that the team is committed to providing you with an unforgettable experience. They checked my Mom and I in, graciously handed us a glass of champagne and entered us into a drawing for a door prize. Being 'Mom's Night Out,' they offer discounted services and provided a fun, pampered atmosphere complete with light fare to snack on!
The treatment:
After a long day for both my Mom and I, we were in desperate need for some rejuvenation. The Mirbeau Signature Massage seemed like the perfect remedy. We were escorted to the luxurious women's changing area (plush robe in hand). It is here that you will find herbal infused steam rooms and saunas, as well as an entrance into the large serene Resting Area.
I love how this central space can be enjoyed by all, and can't wait to bring my husband with me next time . The Resting Area is equipped with a heated foot pool, stone fireplace and ample lounge seating. After catching up, relaxing and enjoying our champagne, we were escorted into our separate treatment rooms. The sense of calmness and serenity continues on into the rooms where you will notice the heated flooring and cozy fireplace. It was a glorious 50 minute journey of massage, touch, scent, and aromatherapy that was much needed.
After our massages we went to the gorgeous Aqua Terrace which is just off of the Resting Area. It was here that we enjoyed the large hot spa pool, over-sized fireplace and dined on small plates & beverages from the year round private bar.
As the night came to a close we went to the spa lobby to enjoy a complimentary hand exfoliation scrub and massage featuring the wonderful organic line of FarmHouse Fresh. Upon our departure we were each gifted a bag of sample products. It was such a wonderful evening, I felt like a new woman (shout out to the hubs for taking care of the babes so I could enjoy a much needed break)!
